Inheriting a legacy of 30 years of providing quality education, Department of Architecture enables students to develop sustainable, durable and elegant professional designs and structures through experiential learning.

Vision

To promote holistic development among students, with focus on inculcating ‘simple living and high thinking’, by creating a center of excellence through architectural education, research and innovation.

Mission

To inculcate scientific temperament by encouraging inquisitive and inquiring thoughts and developing creating and artistic.
To provide emphasis on ethics, morality and healthy practices in professional and personal life.
To provide education also in subjects related to Architecture, such as: art, history and culture, etc., thereby striving to preserve our ancient knowledge.
To provide a platform that is conductive to personality development which is humane, service oriented, by promoting quality education with ample scope for research and development.
To strive to be ranked among the top few colleges of Architecture in the country each year as per NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework)

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

BACHELOR OF ARCHITECTURE

To motivate compassion along with experimentation and reveal creative flair amongst the students.
To prepare students for professional practice in the field of Architecture by giving them a broad scope, exposure to variety of interests in the field and assist them to pursue alternative careers as per the inclination.
To imbibe the attitude of architecture is for the environment and society and encourage students to contribute meaningful interventions for further nation building
To foster students with appropriate skills, knowledge and commitment to professional ideals so that they adapt and appreciate the over changing context of the profession.
To prepare students to be a leader and a visionary by allowing them to go through the integrated framework of explorations, innovation, services, and entrepreneurship.

MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE (GENERAL)

The M. Arch (General) program is an envelope to advanced knowledge and techniques of various disciplines of Architecture.
The program enhances the professional and personal skills of a student with a focus on various disciplines of Architecture such as Architectural design, Urban Design. Urban planning, Building codes and bylaws and Architectural conservation, etc.
The program also addresses the current approach towards sustainable Architecture and Hi – Tech detailing for better and greater performance.

MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE (ENVIRONMENTAL)

Become an expertise in the field of environmental architecture to cater to the needs of the current and future societies.
Finding or generating a visionary employment which can create a sustainable habitat which is the need of future.
Taking active participation in policy making government bodies to create a self-resilient systems and policies to cater to the needs of the society.
Obtaining technical and advanced knowledge to contribute to new research areas or innovations in the field of environmental architecture.
This program educational knowledge should develop new ideas, innovators and entrepreneurs to serve the society as a guide to become a sustainable and less impacting society.

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE (GENERAL)

Graduates will be able to:

PSO1: Will become an Independent Practicing Architect who can come-up with the holistic and innovative solutions to the problems and needs of the society.
PSO2: Will contribute the knowledge and research in the Architecture profession.
PSO3: Can be a part be a part of an organization that will deal with societal, health, safety, legal, and cultural issues as a large challenge.

MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE (ENVIRONMENTAL)

At the end of the program, the student

No DATPSO 1: Should able to apply the knowledge gained during the program from environmental and allied fields in particular to identify, formulate and solve real life problems, and become a green consultant for the society.
PSO 2: Should be able to give expert solutions to the builders, architects, and planners all the stack holders of development to become sustainable developed society at large.
PSO 3: should be able to give technical knowledge to building industry to become more and more green to preserve the resources and reduce impact on environment.
